Only 9 numbered sites, but a BIG open space with tall trees. Large and well maintained firepits. Wonderfully secluded the night I went (a Mon night). Great variety of birds and birdcalls in the morning.

Did a solo drive out here yesterday and it's a nice secluded spot with toilets. Was dark so didn't see much else but noticed there was nobody here camping and there was also running water in the creek.

The bush turkeys are brassy about raiding people's camps, (kookaburras, too; thieved food straight outta my pan) so be sure to keep your food secured.

Great large camp spots with good metal fire pits and flushing toilets. Dirt roads a bit rough for a 2 wheel drive. Watch out for the 4wd cowboys going too fast. One lost a car down the side of the road.

Never been there but great, suggest to all whom want to adventure the high lands and become one with natures gifts. Lots of room, if you want to become prehistoric, if you know what I mean.

It really doesn't get better than this ... nice large areas, fire pits, two good swimming holes nearby, no traffic or light pollution, just you and nature !
